Seah Cheng Tat

Cheng Tat obtained his Masters Degree in Music and Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and Bachelors Degree of Music in Music (Hons.) from King's College London. Prior to joining STAR, he taught the Music Elective Programme (MEP) for Integrated Programme (Years 1 to 4), MEP at A-Levels (Years 5 to 6) as well as the Aesthetics Programme of both Music and Dance (Year 2) at Temasek Junior College. He believes that arts education is essential in nurturing every child holistically; including the development of values, character and competencies. He also plays a variety of musical instruments and is an active performer in the symphonic band scene.
